An Ashtabula County Grand Jury has indicted Don McCormack, ex-sports editor of The Star Beacon and former girls' softball and basketball coach at Jefferson Area High School, on several sex-related charges tied to his conduct as a coach.

Rod Holmes, head coach of the school’s girls basketball team, was indicted on two first-degree misdemeanor charges of failing to report child abuse in connection with McCormack’s conduct.
