Mount Vernon News is looking to fill a full-time reporter position. This general assignment position will cover anything from local government to personal profile pieces. Journalism or writing background is preferred . Excellent verbal communication, time management and organizational skills are essential. Photography skills and the ability to generate fresh content by creating strong relationships in the community are valued attributes. The successful candidate will be available with a flexible schedule that will include assignments on nights and weekends.
